أيمن سمان
Creator. Entertainer. Bridge Builder.

Born in Cairo, I moved from studying Egyptology to fronting Egypt's pioneering heavy metal band, discovering the power of performance and artistic expression. This led me to Chicago, then Los Angeles, where I built a career as an actor, writer, and director with roles in American Sniper and shows like Blindspot, NCIS: LA, Scandal, and Madam Secretary.
As a filmmaker, my work earned international recognition: Jumper was a 2019 Cannes Finalist, The Pitch won a Silver Telly, and I co-created Momo's Amerika, the first Arab-American animated series, acquired by Comedy Central. Through Aymanation Productions (est. 2018), I produce award-winning content bridging Middle Eastern and American cultures. As inaugural leader of Blackmagic Collective's Middle East Chapter, I now empower regional filmmakers globally.
I'm committed to authentic storytelling that bridges cultures. My unique background—Egyptology, heavy metal, Hollywood, international filmmaking—provides a rare perspective I use to help others find their voice in entertainment.
I'm passionate about amplifying underrepresented voices and ensuring Middle Eastern stories are told with nuance and depth. I strive to be a bridge builder—connecting cultures, empowering artists, and creating content that reveals our shared humanity across boundaries.
